Alisa Glukhova

Dr. Alisa Glukhova is a laboratory head in the Structural Biology Division at WEHI. She received her Ph.D. in Chemical Biology in 2014 from the University of Michigan working on solving the structures of lipid-modifying enzymes using x-ray crystallography. During her postdoctoral training at MIPS, she employed x-ray crystallography, cryo-electron microscopy and pharmacology techniques to understand the biology of different G protein-coupled receptors. Her laboratory at WEHI focuses on understanding the structural and biochemical aspects of Wnt signalling pathway, an important pharmacological target for the treatment of many cancers.
